College GameDay is ESPN show, which covers college football life. It was established in 1987. Bob Carpenter was the host, and Lee Corso with Beano Cook were analysts. Firstly, this show was a college game chronic, not colorful, and exciting. However, in1993 the show began to present a “live” broadcast.
The official title of the show is College GameDay Build by the Home Depot. ESPN Radio College GameDay is a special separated radio broadcast.
Lee Corso is still that one to be an official cast member, Chris Fowler is a host, Kirk Herbstreit (former quarterback), is a Corso’s counterpart.
In 2007, GameDay started its 21st season. The beginning of the season took place within the walls of Virginia tech, the closing of the season took place in New Orleans, in 2008. The show is going on in the duration of two hours of the live broadcast. It starts at 10 a.m. The 22nd season of GameDay is going to be opened on August 30, 2008.
The show itself is considered to be very popular and always gathers crowds of spectators. The biggest crowd in order to have a look of the show was gathered in 2001 in the Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, the crowed reached the figure of 15, 808.
