The 1961 Alabama Crimson Tide was the best college football team during that period. The team was trained by the famous trainer Paul “Bear” Bryant. Everybody watched its games, victories and lost with interest. It was highlighted in the press and on TV. The lives of the members of the team were in the center of the attention. The status of the champion brought to Alabama states the glory and attention of worldwide publicity.
